Mechanical vibrations are often the very first signs before wider damages in rotating equipment. Vibration analysis allows to characterize the vibration phenomenon, determine the source and implement the necessary preventive measures. For this purpose, GEMCO’s engineers are constantly trained to vibration analysis technics and to the new available analytical equipment.
Endoscopy, by the introduction of a small diameter video probe into the equipment to be inspected, allows a visual check of the internal condition of a rotating machine. This technology is primarily used to detect damages, major premature wear or cracking of internal parts.
